What's your weather like?

One of the things I was excited about when moving was the fact that I would not have to deal with snow and ice anymore. Yes, there is snow and ice in TX.
It was not a lot but it did snow way too close for my comfort. Now it is just raining and cooooold.

Ha,ha. You know how in the movies major cities are always targeted/get destroyed by aliens, Godzilla and other monsters with super powers? If the movie was based in Dallas, it would be an ice storm.

I have 2/3 bottle of wine, rum, and tequila. If I run out of supplies, I can put on my Emu boots and walk 1/4 mile to my sister's.

I just went to an OUTDOOR MLS soccer game where the temp was 14, feels like 5! OMG!! Luckily I can now feel my fingers and toes.

Trooper! Congrats on the win though, hopefully that made it worth it!

We are "enjoying" a snow storm here as well. Lovely chilling temps, sleet, freezing rain, snow - awesome. Apparently the local news lady labeled it "Gobblegeddon"; I'm not sure I'd go quite that far but it's inconvenient.

Wait seriously? Its like a light dusting of sloppy, wet snow. There's no "geddon" about it. It's a little annoying getting my shoes wet... but I can't bear to break out big winter boots because it would look absurd wearing them with so little snow on the ground... maybe I need some wellies for living here.

I think some places a bit north of Pittsburgh did get quite a bit of accumulation. I feel like the area they call "up by Pittsburgh" on the weather channel is enormous - and has pretty inconsistent weather.

Drive is going well so far. Flurries but nothing to slow us down and we are about 30 minutes east of Columbus.
