  • Gah, it's cold! Our heat has been broken and won't raise the temps inside above 60°. They came and "fixed" it recently, but I'm not sure it helped much. The only warm place is my bed and I never want to leave it!

    • Crazy thunderstorms here - rare for November, guess I should be glad its not cold enough for thunder snow.

      • High today of 72, high tomorrow of 77, then BOOM! High of 46 on Friday.
We like to do it big around here - the cold fronts always seem to blow in overnight.

          Thunder snow? That sounds ominous.

          • Yep - usually produces a LOT of wet, wet snow - the kind that breaks lots and lots of branches off of trees. We had two storms like that last year, not fun!

              • It's 61 out and DD15 just had a Blizzard from DQ. She's now complaining that she's freezing. I yelled at her to put some clothes on! The goofball is in a leotard and stretch capris and tights (just got home from ballet).

                          • I just went to an OUTDOOR MLS soccer game where the temp was 14, feels like 5! OMG!! Luckily I can now feel my fingers and toes.

The grocery store was unusually insane for a Saturday.
                              Now it all makes sense.

LOL, so true! Dallas is hilarious about cold weather.

My whine: DD's birthday party is today. It's the only day we had free within 3 weeks before or after her birthday, and we'll probably have a bad turnout because of the sleet.
