Same here. It's been mostly cloudy and high in the mid 80s for a couple days and for the foreseeable future. Humidity still about 70-80% but still, that's crazy good for this time of year.

          • You know, honestly when the high is below 95 it isn't that bad. It's when it gets above 95 that I notice a marked difference in how I feel, how well my house cools (not well), and how quickly my plants shrivel up. Those few degrees make a massive difference.

Fire is contained. Only 2 homes were evacuated (no damage, thankfully), but a power transmission line is out of commission. The next valley over has power outages that should be fixed later today.

                • Mid-90s for most of the day, then a really violent thunderstorm with horizontal rain, close lightning strikes and a short power outage! Not too bad now.

                        • We have had rain and humidity. Not used to the humid stuff here. Our dobe can't go potty when it rains because he thinks he is so sweet that he will melt (eye-roll). Dude has been holding it in.
Finally - we are finished with training! Hello real world!!

                          • All my bitching this spring about getting too much rain? I take it all back. My yard is dying and I am frustrated by it. I have been watering the back yard sometime because that is where we spend out time, but holy crap that gets expensive... But, I am stuck with it now because we are having a party next Friday to watch a movie in the back yard so it needs to look decent.

                              • I'll too that. I am desperately trying to lose weight this summer, so I am biking almost everywhere. I ALWAYS look like a hot mess right now.
