and are we crazy?
I'm sick of all of the junk we have in this house. Fed. Up.
I started cleaning out the garage this weekend and came up with so much garbage to throw away that it will cost us $200 in a large garbage pick-up to get rid of it (old rotting door, broken saw, broken bike trailer, etc).
This got us thinking to Amanda's broken bed, Andrew's broken desk, the carpet in the living room that the cats have scratched beyond belief ... the living room table, the crap stuffed into our storage area under the stairs etc etc.
We have a lot of junk here that we've been holding on to in part because we haven't known how to get rid of it other than put it out with our garbage and pay for a large garbage pick up.
I told dh that I want to rent a garbage dumpsters and then just get rid of all of it.
My idea? Go through each and every room of the house and purge the crap.
He's kind of on board after seeing my garbage piles after cleaning out the garage.
It would cost us $750 for 14 days ... but the alternative is to put this stuff out on the curb and pay the fees directly at that time.
Has anyone here ever done anything like this? I feel kind of silly ... and yet at the same time ... bring it.
Kris
