Bluejay, just piping in to say holy moly, that's amazing! I think this is the story that deserves a nike or gatorade contract. That's awesome!

I have done this over 4/5 years. Very slowly. And I have sought for help from my friends, and also learned about myself along the way. I do hope it will be permanent.
Wow, that’s truly remarkable!! Soo impressive and inspiring. 🙌🏽

Love your positive attitude! Keep on keeping on, one foot in front of the other. 35 pounds is excellent progress and I’m proud of you.

This week I hit the 50 pounds lost milestone! Now that the weather is finally changing here, I’m finding my winter clothes from last year don’t fit at all, but I don’t want to invest much in new clothes because I‘ve still got about 25-30 pounds I want to lose. I’m still going to Orangetheory 5-6 days a week, but not eating as clean as before. Progress has slowed, but I’m okay as long as I’m still headed in the right direction. I recently dyed my hair red and between that and the weight loss I’ve had a couple instances where people I haven’t seen in awhile didn’t recognize me.

                Gained 5+ pounds this week.

This just goes to show that I know my body. I know how to eat to lose weight for my body. So this week when I did NOT do these things, I gained. I had a friend in town for several days, and we had fun eating, but it just wasn't the way my body needs me to eat.

Well, onward. This has happened before on my journey, so I know to just get my stride again, and get back to losing. A bad week has never permanently derailed me before.

I’m glad you had fun with your friend. Don’t sweat the 5 pounds. You’ll take it off again.

Good for you! I'm still in maintenance mode but presently indulging a craving for nachos. This cannot stand for long.

Yumm nachos. It’s not about depriving ourselves. Everything in moderation. Enjoy!

                            • Great work everyone! I'm on a mission to be 100% on point nutrition and exercise wise this month. Just joined a new gym and we're not doing a big Thanksgiving so I think it's doable! Also have a wedding on the 30th to keep me focused! 2 weeks of clean eating and 5x/ week workouts commence!
