I'm trying to walk more, but with C's feeding and pumping, in between working and dropping off and picking up E from school, plus eating, I haven't had any time at all. Hopefully he'll start feeding more quickly soon, and I'll have some time again. I do need to eat more veggies, although I'm better now than I used to be. And I need to replace the battery in my Garmin so I can start wearing it again.
Sounds like you have a game plan!

BTW, I've been meaning to rave: I had bloodwork drawn a few weeks ago for a routine physical -- my total cholesterol is 156! I was so relieved, because I think my dad's sisters had to go on cholesterol lowering drugs by their 40s, and there is so much heart disease on both sides that I feel like I am swimming upstream against my genetics.

Question: does anyone know the impact of short daily stretches vs once a week yoga? I can probably swing once a week yoga more readily than every day.
Once a week will still be very helpful. If you are going to take a class, I HIGHLY recommend finding a studio that does Iyengar. They are super focused technique and body position to avoid injury. Once you know the basics you might find other schools meet your needs better, but the solid foundation that comes from Iyengar is awesome.

        • I'm trying to go for yoga once a week too. Probably from home though.

I did an insanity workout last night because DH got home too late for me to run. I remember why I hate them now...even better with a baby whining at you

            • I think I have a Rodney Yee one that is ok. I'm going to ask my FIL to send me the file for the 30 min version of P90X yoga because I need something effective and quixk

              • Last time I tried to do a yoga video at home DD was climbing all over me. It didn't work out so well. She does ok playing if I run on the treadmill but if I get down on the floor she thinks it's time to play. Good luck. Nap time sounds like a good plan.

                  • We paid for a subscription to YogaGlo for several months when I was PP with DS2. It really, really helped - lots of styles and modifications. I highly recommend it, and they have a channel "app" on Roku.

Like okay, I have on a 36D (regular) bra today, but my measurements the way I have always taken them are closer to 34DD and the calculator poky linked suggests 32DDD (US). Moving Comfort's website? Puts me at a 38B. Dafuq?
Find a store that carries them! Ya gotta try those on the first time, otherwise it's too easy to end up with a bad fit!

Well, that's easier said than done when you live in the middle of nowhere. But where do you even start with a fitting, given that kind of discrepancy? I actually have one Moving Comfort, it's a size M 34CD-36C. And it fits fine, I guess, but maybe just a tad tight in the band? I have no way of knowing though whether that's just beause sports bras fit tightly, or because Moving Comfort apparently has the weird standard of having its bras fit a chest 4" smaller than their printed band size measurement. http://www.brooksrunning.com/en_us/m...easure-up.html

Anyway. I clearly have issues with needing to have lots of information before making even the smallest decision -- analysis paralysis over here. I'm sure I'll shake it off, eventually...

                          • I'd order online from somewhere with great return policy. Get a few sizes, then send back the losers.

                            Bra sizing. Meh.

                            • I use the Moving Comfort "Maia" for all things high intensity. 38D works for me -- the cup is a little big, but the width of the cup is what gives me the complete coverage that a smaller cup size wouldn't. #postkids

                              • Is that significantly bigger than your normal band size and smaller than your normal cup, or fairly close?

I think I'm going to call Brooks today. This has eaten away at my poor logical mind for too long.
