Today, I found this site and joined, and have begun trying to work my way up to 100 posts so I can talk about more serious/personal issues (e.g. being in a relationship with a dawkter) more comfortably in the private forums.
Today, I felt autumn creeping in through the windows and scowled.
Today, I got iced hibiscus tea downtown.
Today, I instinctively entered a bookstore that I was walking past, then remembered my stack of 7 nearly-due-and-largely-unread stack of books at home, laughed, and left.

Today (or tonight, perhaps) I can't sleep so I'm re-reading all the pins in my funny board on pinterest. Man I pin some hilarious stuff.
Today my little kitty cat is being super snuggly and she's normally a gigantic bitch so it's a nice change of pace.
Today I started my Spanish language tapes. Lo quiero ahora!Wife of a surgical fellow; Mom to a busy toddler girl and 5 furballs (2 cats, 3 dogs)

Today, I spent the day volunteering at a girls' empowerment camp for 12-15-year-old girls, doing STEM experiments, talking about healthy relationships, making feminist collages and wearable buttons, and having a water balloon fight.
Today, I let the dog run in the field and made sure to have a pocket stuffed with hamburger bits to ensure that he'd come back.
Today, I don't have anything at all planned/available for dinner and may get Pad Thai and veggie curry delivered.

Today, the babies woke up shortly before 5AM, then they asked me why we were eating breakfast while it was still dark outside.
Today, I painted my toenails with glitter and my 2yo told me that I have "twinkle toes".
Today, just now, K1 says his tummy hurts.Wife and #1 Fan of Attending Adult & Geriatric Psychiatrist.

Today, I spent so much time on the computer that my RSI/hand and forearm pain returned, grrrr.
Today, my partner and I made a delicious-and-so-simple dinner, mostly with organic veggies from our garden and farmer's market: cucumber/tomato/feta salad (with basil, EVOO, balsamic, salt, and pepper), and BLTs.
Today, the mail was so annoyingly unexciting that I left it in the mailbox instead of bringing it into the house.
Today, I started reading Grassroots, a book about activism, by Jennifer Baumgardner and Amy Richards.
Today, my partner and I began watching Olympics coverage we DVRd while we were camping these past couple weeks - somehow we have managed to STILL remain in the dark about who won the finals in women's soccer, and we're dying to watch and find out. (So don't tell me! )

Today, DrK was working. We hardly saw him this weekend.
Today, I took the boys to the zoo.
Today, I was astonished when my K1 (2yo) called me by my full name (first and last) and then told me DrK's full name including the "Dr." followed by Firstname Lastname.
Today K2, whose never had diaper rash before, got the worst diaper rash I've ever seen and was completely miserable.Wife and #1 Fan of Attending Adult & Geriatric Psychiatrist.
