Today I had a really nice day with my daughter. Playgroup at open gym (just as fun for me, I admit it), a nice long nap (just the baby), lots of playing, another nap (both of us), and dinner with daddy. This is a really good and cute age!Married to a newly minted Pediatric Rad, momma to a sweet girl and a bunch of (mostly) cute boy monsters.

Today I am throwing a "panda" birthday party for my DD. I hope she's half as excited as I am. We're making panda masks, Pom Pom pandas, paper bag panda puppets, playing hot panda, panda dress up relay race, blow the panda ping long across the floor, panda bozo buckets, and pin the face on the panda. And to top it off, it's supposed to be 65 degrees here today, so we can do the panda piñata outside!-Deb
Wife to EP, just trying to keep up with my FOUR busy kids!

That sounds like so much fun, Deebs! You can never have too many games planned. Also Hot Panda is going to be the name of my new indie rock group.Married to a hematopathologist seven years out of training.

Today is my baby boy's 3rd birthday. We had a great time at his party yesterday. This was his cake!

Veronica, I'm sorry about your asthma issues - I sympathize!!
Suzy, that cake is amazing.
Today, we have two overnight guests, an old friend of mine and her roommate, whom I'm going to make pumpkin pancakes for when they wake up. Yesterday I hung out with the two of them for about 7 hours, co-facilitating a workshop, going out to eat, etc., while SO spent the entire afternoon and evening at home on call and glued to her phone and pager. Why is it that during the on call days when we have no plans or activities, the pager is relatively quiet, but then when there's a social gathering she could go to, her pager won't shut up?? Argh.
