Or just do them all on the same day! With technology as it is, there's no need to separate them.

I don't get why Rubio isn't more popular... Just the gang of 8 amnesty thing? I don't mind his amnesty plan tbh.

Trump is an "FU vote" to everything establishment.

Hilary's legal issues seem to be legit. It's up to the DOJ right now if she can stay in, IMHO.

O'Malley as Baltimore mayor said some pretty unprofessional things about republicans (calling them stupid, etc) which is kind of ridiculous for someone who hopes to represent the nation, the whole nation, including the republican idiots. I don't know. He was not very professional in his approach to being mayor, which is sort of how trump is so immature in his name calling too. (But his name calling goes way beyond...)

I would pick Rubio if it mattered. But since I vote in WA state whoever the Dem is will win there for sure. If I lived in a Red state I may vote Blue bc I just like to be contrary I think. (Only lived in very Blue states so I don't know... Can't say for sure!)

Yeah, Rubio is my choice as well, but I doubt by the time it gets here it will matter.

A classmate of mine from high school wrote this the other day. She's conservative (not sure whether she identifies as republican, independent, or libertarian). It resonated with me and articulated a lot of frustrated and bewilderment with Trump. Thought y'all might dig it too.

"I’ve not said much about the presidential race for many reasons, but today I have a dangerous combination of the fire in my belly and ten minutes to write, so I’m about to go political. Sorry I’m not sorry.
There are a lot of things that annoy and disgust me about Donald Trump, to the point that I make an effort to avoid reading about or watching him – because the more I know, the more angry I get, and I’m not in a place in my life where I have emotional energy to spare.
Last night, I made the mistake of reading the Trump press release concerning his non-participation in the upcoming debate. I do not care about his participation one iota, but the document was so poorly written it made me want to break out a red pen and mark up the screen of my laptop.
What pushed me over the edge was the use of what I have long known was Trump’s presidential tagline. Last night, I found it downright offensive.
                    “Make America Great Again.”
What kind of myopic, egotistical madman would use this as a slogan for a presidential campaign? Can you think of another politician who has not just implied, but stated that America could only be made great through support for their candidacy?
When has America EVER relied on a president to make or break our greatness?
We the People are what made and make America great. We the People assimilated individuals and families from hundreds of countries, ethnicities, and religions into a country that offers some of the greatest freedom and opportunity the world has ever seen. We’ve overcome wars within and beyond our borders with the leadership of fine men and women, but at the root of it all has been the People.
Which leads to the next issue: I refuse to believe that Trump’s machismo definition of greatness is a definition most Americans actually support. At their core, I think most Americans – not ALL, but most – still understand common decency, fidelity, and a strong work ethic to be elements of a truly great man or woman. A billionaire who runs around shooting off his mouth and leaving one woman for the next may make for good television, if you’re into that sort of thing (which, I suppose, too many people are), but who really reveres his character? Are we really ready to call such a man “great?”
I think not. If America is to be great, we can and must do it without Trump or any leader who considers himself a panacea of greatness that will trickle down to the rest of us.
Because making America great takes a lot more effort than casting a single ballot. It takes working hard to give your children a better life than the one you enjoyed. It takes loving your neighbor as yourself. It requires building and maintaining community. It demands standing on principle and it means compromise. And this year, it means rejecting the overtures of politicians who would pretend the greatness of America has anything to do with them."

My husband just said that Trump makes some good points. Is this grounds for divorce? Only half kidding I know this is based on whatever stupid blog he's been reading today - his political opinions change on a daily basis - but it's not doing my blood pressure any good.

His "good" points are common sense and still noncommittal. He thinks PP provides wonderful services but will defund? Agrees we shouldn't exclude people from coverage based on preexisting conditions-- how does anyone disagree with that? He is pro Israel and wants peace but doesn't have the courage to mention "two state solution"?

                            Don't believe the hype, DH!

I know right! I'm just amazed that he believes a word of it...or that he thinks that nutter can be trusted as president! I think he just says these things to annoy me and it works! This is a man who voted for Obama but now claims that he didn't because he's disappointed in him. I know he did, he was a huge Obama fan. Seriously wrecks my head!
