I am glad to hear that your hubby did better than anticipated on his exams, it really is fantastic news. However, not to be a Debbie Downer, but the underlying behaviors still need to be dealt with before classes resume. It is really important that he optimize the time spent studying and strives to keep as much school/family balance as possible. To be honest, I didn't do this and I think, in retrospect, my passivity was a large part of why my ex struggled so much. He didn't face his particular demons in a timely fashion and that haunts him to this day. (By no means do I think your situation and mine are identical, it is just that I see similar behavior patterns and I know that my choices didn't exactly work out so well.)Kris
