    What's your weather like?

    I think now our temp is up to like 14. I literally just saw three people in shorts - or crops that hit just below the knee. I don't understand.

    But I have like a million steps to do still today, so considering walking to the grocery store. I just don't feel like getting on a treadmill for some reason.

      I know we're supposed to be good citizens and conserve our heat, but I just turned mine up. I'm freezing!!!!

        I finally got the interior of my house up to 65 with the wood stove. Dang. It's cold. A whole morning of 55 had me huddled and unproductive.

          Currently 15 out, and colder temps are on the way. I have afternoon bus duty this month (of course!) and you would not believe the number of kids who leave the school building without a coat, or with only a sweatshirt. I don't get it!

            It's been around 5-10 degrees here all day. I sure hope it's warming up. Otherwise, this work at home lady is going to spend tomorrow at Panera. My house furnace isn't doing much to warm the place up!

                Omg. I think I just saw sunlight!!! I'm sure it will be gone in 10min, but so lovely to see even a little!!!

                Eta: it lasted for about 7 min. Back to gray dreary blahness. Apparently next week will be even colder than this one, so that is supper exciting.

                    Hail showers. Decided it was so wet I might as well put waders on and dig ditches. Hard graft but great result on draining flooded field. Still wet in afternoon so cleaned bathrooms and ironed.

                        Cloudy, but bright. The johnny jump-ups in my porch container somehow survived and are blooming; the hyacinths and daffodils are peeking up!

                            What's your weather like?

                            Sunny with lots of snow on the ground. Could see more snow on Saturday, Monday, next Friday, blah blah blah. Not used to so many snow events so close together!

                            It is 21 now, going down to 3 overnight. It was 12 yesterday with a WC of -10. Some schools that were closed yesterday due to snow delayed opening today because of the cold temps.

                                I quite literally want to cry every time I have to go outside, but I don't dare because the tears would freeze.
