With WC, we are at a balmy -23. I'm so excited for my 15-minute walk from my work parking space to the building tomorrow!

With snow on the ground, we have had the following today: freezing rain, rain, dense fog and now thunderstorms are expected in the next hour or so. Tomorrow night, the low will be 5 with a wind chill approaching -15. The weather the past week has been so bizarre.

Hilarity...physicians from our med school on every news program telling people not to go outside...that it's not even worth running to the store, when all non-essential staff are required to work today, and all non-MDs have to park approximately 15 minutes away.
So in other words, the message we are getting is, "Don't go outside unless you work here, because we don't really care if you get frostbite".
Then, I get to work and everybody in my office cheated by parking in the parking ramps reserved for patients. Classy.I'm just trying to make it out alive!

I think it was 13 this morning with WC of -1. It wasn't so bad when I started my car. DD's school is sort of on a hill and the wind was blowing like mad. A quick walk to the front door, like 15 yards, and my hands were hurting! I want to be in San Antonio!Wife to PGY5. Mommy to baby girl born 11/2009. Cat mommy since 2002

It's 7 but feels like -11. All the kids are off except DD19, Belmont decided to open since the roads are clear. All the other universities are closed (which seems a bit silly to me). By Friday we're supposed to be back to the mid-50's.Tara

It was -23 this morning, but has warmed to a comfortable -18. I'm trying to talk myself into taking a shower, but so far I've not been very convincing.
Our car started this morning, praise the Lord! I got DH some long underwear to at least wear until he got into the hospital because I, too, was afraid he was going to freeze his balls off under his scrub pants.Wife of a PGY-1 podiatric surgery resident, mom to two cat babies with a human one on the way!
