That's mental. I'm disappointed there's a 40% chance of rain today, and the high is 72. Such crap that rain might waste a perfectly temperate day.

    • Well, at least now, my nose hairs won't freeze when I walk out the door. And the stupid compressor arm thingy on my storm door will actually work. It has been so cold that there is no resistance in the cylinder of compressed air that is in there.

        • It really is shocking how quickly you adapt to that freezing temp. Two days, totally sucks... But then the temp goes up to 11 degrees and it feels like summertime. Totally weird. I'm not sure I felt the difference as much when it went down, but going up was miraculous. Bodies like warmth!

I agree! I had the best day yesterday. Spent so much time outside. It was still freezing, but felt SO MUCH better!

So true! It's currently 40* warmer than on Monday, but it's still below freezing...but it feels like a heat wave!

              • Rain today, and lots of it. At least it isn't cold enough to freeze anymore.

Mist on Wednesday, for on Thursday, rain on Friday -- this has been a bad hair week. So much wild hair.

Way too long without sun! Hope it stops soon!

This has been a really brutal winter already. I think I need to plan another sunny trip to get me through.

Yep - the temp when we left the house was 25 above. That is 50 degrees warmer than it was Monday morning. The high today is supposed to be 36.

                            • We had brutal freezing rain here this morning. Accidents all over the state - ambulance accidents, buses (school and public transit types), etc. There was even a flipped over fire truck several miles from here.

Sunny and 40* at home, but we're over in Seattle so it's wet and 40*.
