And I weigh 5 pounds less than I did yesterday morning. Holy shit, I was not expecting that, but I'll take it!

I cheated a little yesterday, but had no choice. DD is in a cooking class, so I had to try what she brought home. I had about 1/2 a choc covered pretzel. Otherwise, I did well. I think the green morning drink that I'm sucking down right now is the worst, so it's all downhill from here today (hopefully).

My dinner had a sweet potato as the main veggie. It was gross. I had to dilute with water and chug.

What plan are you following? I'm doing the one that someone linked here (the fitmomfitkids) for three days. The drinks are all fairly good, except the morning is very kale-heavy.

I have some recipes, but have just been making stuff up. I just had a small apple, two carrots, two oranges and a few strawberries. It was perfection.

Wow 5 lbs in one day, that's awesome! Do you know about how much water you've been drinking?

A ton. I read you need to drink a lot with juicing. A spaghetti jug full after each juice. I checked the scale about 5 times. Crazy. It's not like I'm super morbidly obese or something. But no complaints from me.

Just make sure you guys are getting some of the veggies in there as well. They make such a huge difference!
                    We do:
                    Spinach
                    Red Swiss Chard
Kale (oh my gosh, the Kale is taking over my fridge!)
                    Carrots
                    Beets (you'd be surprised... really)

We also have a lot of ginger, lemons, and limes for extra flavor/kick.
I have not personally juiced a tomato, but I've heard great things about that as well - some people make their own "Bloody Mary-style" veggie juice.

Oh goodness I just did beets with carrots, swiss chard, and a lemon. Fuscha everywhere! I've been doing a ton of kale and chard.

First - I just made my own almond milk. That's probably one of the crunchiest things I've ever done. It was yummy, and helped me feel a little more like I had eaten.

We do beets, granny smith apple, limes and ginger. A favourite in our house!

Do you cook the beets or steam them first, or just stick them in? I have a bag of beets but haven't used any yet because I wasn't sure how to approach them.

I just put them through raw, though I peel them before juicing them (because their skins are hard to clean if they're a little old). Carrots I do raw, unpeeled.
