Operation lose 15-20lbs or more is in place. Trying to make good eating decisions and do some exercise, but it's tough when E refuses to sit in a stroller for more than a few minutes.

On vacation this week, so far we have hiked daily and I have gotten a run daily. I am also reading The End of Dieting, and it is super inspiring. Yay healthy vacation! (Okay, there might be a less than healthy amount of wine involved, LOL.) The book has a bunch of testimonials from people who have followed a veggie-heavy diet to good effect, and in a total small world moment, I am 99% sure one of them is a local mom who is close friends with my mom friends -- I knew her by reputation as a health nut and apparently it is for good reason, since she has apparently lost 75 pounds and kept it off for several years, while also bei able to ditch her antidepressant and migraine medicine. Pretty cool!Alison

I lost my fitbit yesterday. I have no idea when it fell off my wrist. I was home when it last synced, but was out and about after that. I've tried syncing randomly to see if I dropped it outside or something....no dice. Anyone know the range that it'll sync?Mom of 3, Veterinarian
