And I don't get the people who want Mary & Tom together. It doesn't make any sense to me at all. (To be clear, this isn't a spoiler--I read about people wanting them together before season2 ended)

I had to google it to see what the deal was with Jessica Brown-Findlay leaving the show mid-season. Apparently she decided to move to Hollywood to pursue her career. I stumbled across an article written last August that talked about the fear that all the young actors/actresses were jumping ship for more money/more opportunities in the US, striking while the iron's hot so to speak. Looks like they were right. I guess it was either kill her off or have her live in Ireland never to be seen again which would have been rather boring. I also think it's funny how many articles I've seen yesterday and today on major news sources about pre-eclampsia.

I do see where it would make an interesting storyline to kill off Sybil. Now the Crawley's grandchild will be raised by Matthew alone, who is not their class and appears to have been tolerated only because he was Sybil's husband.

Lol, I understand . Though this last death didn't make me cry; there just wasn't as much drama and emotional drain to me with his death like there was with Sybil's. Sybil's episode completely wore me out. I do think it's interesting though that they're pulling in this Rose character to fill some of that young, rebellious void Sybil left.

OMG, I've been obsessed with Downton lately. I just finished Season 1 today (having previously watched most of season 2 and 3). I've been entirely preoccupied with it.

Lately every time I see a sign for going Downtown I think mentally of Downton Abbey and the picture the cast took in NY blocking out the second W so it said Downton. I can't wait for next season!
