I couldn't take missing what's going on with Downton Abbey anymore so I searched a few fan sites and found these links to the latest episodes. They're still fresh and good quality.

          Season 3 Episode 6 Link

          Season 3 Episode 7 Link

          Season 3 Episode 8 Link

There is a 2 hour Christmas Special coming soon too! The fan base has grown and the ratings are up but there is no word yet on if there will be a Season 4. I do hope so because I love watching this show very much.

I can't wait for the 2 hr. Christmas Special that airs in the UK on Christmas Day. I hope I can find it online again. I was shopping Downton Abbey DVD's online and they already have the UK version of Season 3 available. Really? The Christmas Special hasn't even aired yet? Also I don't think it's possible for us to get them for our viewing pleasure unless we have a compatible DVD player. I remember some of my friends from Norway pointing this problem out to me when I was in college. Their DVD's wouldn't play on our players and our DVD's wouldn't play on their players because we have different laser imprinting systems and readers to control the markets. Season 1, 2 & 3 are on my wish list but it may have to be sometime next year that I get them as a late Christmas present. I really hope they have a Season 4 and the show keeps going. Still waiting to hear the news on that.

It's called region encoding, and most DVD players have simple hacks that will switch them to "region 0", which will allow them to play DVDs from any region (our was "open the tray, press these 5 buttons on the remote, boom, you're region 0 and can play any DVD"). There's also PAL/NTSC incompatibility issues, but I think that's starting to be less of an issue with HDTVs.

Just an FYI, my computer did it's last dying breath a day after I watched the last two episodes via those links. It's been a mess for awhile, so it very likely isn't related, but fair warning.

Thanks for the info! Do you know if we watch them on a computer will we have the same issue and be able to hack the region? Our computer has HD and Blue Ray on it but I'm not sure if that makes a difference.

Sorry to hear it. Maybe give the computer a rest and restart it after a few days to see if it will work. When my last computer was going it also died after streaming a bunch of Youtube and Hulu videos which was a lot for the processor to take. I found that it restarted after a period of rest for a few days.

Yes, most DVD player software has region security; many will allow a certain number of region changes, but no more, and they're in general less hackable than the separate DVD component players.
