Today my kids are WIRED and crazily enough I'm adding another 5 and 3 year old to the mix in an hour - I need to be committed!

You will LOVE it. Seriously, DH and I get so much satisfaction out of it every day. We didn't expect to find a house in our price range that had it, but the one we bought did and in the color we wanted. Plus it hides dirty countersMarried to a newly minted Pediatric Rad, momma to a sweet girl and a bunch of (mostly) cute boy monsters.

Today, K1 was unkind to the new kid at school. This boy is much smaller than K1 and the teacher thinks that K1 might have bit him. K1 admitted to me that he and his friend excluded the new boy made him cry. We had a long talk about how the new boy probably feels, how being new is scary for some people, etc. K1 is not afraid of anything so he thinks the new boy is a wimp. I tried to explain that if he is braver than someone else, he needs to help them be brave too and not make their lives miserable. I'm hoping he'll do better tomorrow. It's a lot easier to teach kids how to count and read than it is to teach them to be kind.Wife and #1 Fan of Attending Adult & Geriatric Psychiatrist.

Today, iMSN members 45 miles from me had sweltering temperatures in the 80s up to 90. iMSN members 150 miles from me had temps near 100! While I had temps in the upper 60s, and 15 mph winds that made it almost too chilly to wear shorts. Crazy weather! (I'm just glad it dropped below 75 in the house finally...)Alison

Today is my 27th birthday. And I'm always really grateful and a little sad on my birthday, I don't know why. I think I'm too sensitive to how quickly time flies. In any case - I'm looking forward to a day at the pool and DH cooking me dinner (Whoohoo birthdays when you're broke!) and then heading out for the beach tomorrow where well be for the rest of the week!
