Been here nearly 10 years- found it mid-way through intern year. My husband is an Army Child Neurologist who is currently in DC doing a year-long fellowship in Neurophysiology. He will be the only Army epileptologist at the end of this little thrill ride. (the other one is retiring just as my husband will be graduating). We have a six-year old boy - adopted from Russia- this gang got me through that insanity along with deployment, five moves and three different jobs.

      Hi there!
I found this site at the start of DH's third year of med school... some lonely nights during surgery rotation. DH was on the Caribbean med school path. We survived it and he is now PGY2 (of four) in rural eastern North Carolina. We are 99.99% sure a one year fellowship is ahead of us, hopefully back home in Texas (or a fun location).

I am a blessed to be a SAHM to a baby girl that is now 8 months old. I'm also mommy to two fab cats!!
Wife to PGY5. Mommy to baby girl born 11/2009. Cat mommy since 2002

I delurked right after my husband (then boyfriend) started med school, so I'm starting my 9th year on the board. We just moved and started a one-year fellowship in hematopathology, and this should be our final year of training (PGY-5). I WAH part-time, and have two girls, 2.5 and 7 months.
Married to a hematopathologist seven years out of training.
          Raising three girls, 11, 9, and 2.

I've been here about 2 years. My husband left a job in corporate accounting to go to medical school. We've been taking the scenic route through medical training. :eyeroll: He's now a PGY-1, Psych. We are off-cycle and will finish residency in Oct. 2013. We are in Kansas. I'm a WAHM/attorney. We are parents to an adorable 6 mo boy and Moxie The Mensa Yorkie.

I've been here for about seven years. I delurked after my husband started residency and we started thinking seriously about having kids. Then I was working as an attorney and he was an intern. Now I am a SAHM to a 6 yo girl, 4 yo boy and 3 month old boy. Dh is an ophthalmologist in private practice in our home state.
Wife of Ophthalmologist and Mom to my daughter and two boys.

I have been around here about 3 1/2 years, but I wish it had been longer! I am a SAHM to three kids - ages 4, 2, and 8 months. DH is an emergency physician at a hospital in central IL. We are currently in our fourth location in seven years, and while I'm tired of moving, I don't think we'll be here forever.

I've been on the boards for about 6 years. I'm married to an academic attending endocrine surgeon who's been out of training for about 4 years in the NE. We have three DDs (6,4,1) and are expecting our first boy in about 3 weeks. I've been at home for the past 4 years, and I'm going back to work this fall as a school nurse at our girls' school.

I'm a SAHM who's married to a brand-new attending urologist (just finished 8 years of training), we have two boys ages 2 and 4, a sweet dog, and are expecting a baby girl this fall.

I've been here about 3 years, I think. My DH just finished a 5 yr urology residency and we've moved to California where he will be a uriologist in the Navy for 4 yrs. I'm a SAHM to our 16-month-old DD and 5-yr-old mutt.

                          Ah, the IMSN "love story..."

Found the boards back in the fall of '08 (almost 2 yrs), when DH was just my SO, and had started residency.
We've since been married, and he's in his final yr of FM (yay moonlighting!) - I finished my M.A. this spring, and am currently a SAH "trophy wife" (looking for a job, but unemployed at the moment).
We have 2 Siberian Huskies (9 1/2 yrs., and 1 1/2 yrs.) and reside in the urban jungle of L.A. (my DH is a native Angeleno; I'm a transplant from the South). Looking into moving (possibly out-of-state) in Summer 2011, and considering NHSC to help with loan repayment (because debt sucks).

I believe I delurked during MS-2 (once I was actually a "spouse"), so about 8-9 years ago? DH has been out of training 1 full year now, we're living our dream in Washington state as he works in a community ED. The kids are 3.5 years and 17 months, respectively.
