      • I hosted a play date for SIX little boys today and I did not die!

Actually, it went really well. The boys were boys but not out of hand. Even my boys were good and I was relaxed. It was fun!

            • Ryan and I are taking a physics class together at the college. Should be entertaining. We're both kind of competitive, so we'll see how it goes.

                • There's now a bet involved. If he does better in the class than me, I have to give him $200. If I do better that him, he has to go to Prom and not complain about it. If you knew my son, that was a hard bet for him to make. I've gotta win!!!

Also, I talked to her about potentially not being able to keep pumping enough for E's two 5oz bottles at daycare every day, and what I should do since she won't drink formula. She said at this point she's getting enough calories from her solid food, so I shouldn't worry about it, and when my freezer stash runs out, just send whatever I do pump and keep nursing at home. I feel so much less stressed about this now!

                        • I persuaded DrK to come home by 6:30, take us to dinner, and get to bed early tonight.... I so need a break. His long nights of work and study mean long nights of single parenting for me too.

As of Aug 5, my FICO score was back up to 813. Woo!

                          • My new grown-up dishes have arrived. LOVE THEM. We finally reached the breaking point (literally) with our $40 service for 16 from Walmart when my son's bff went to load the dishwasher and accidentally pulled the whole rack out, sending the dishes to the floor. Whoops. That said, I will cry a little if someone breaks any new plates anytime soon!

Someone on DH's Facebook posted about iPhone 5 battery replacements this morning. We checked my phone and I qualify! The battery life on this phone has been awful. Off to get a new one today, so excited!

THANK YOU, THANK YOU!! This is a serious jackpot. Mine qualifies!! Even though I'm eligible for an upgrade and will probably upgrade to the new iPhone when it comes out this fall (because I am a shameless Apple fangirl), I am totally taking them up on this free battery change. It kind of sucks that they identify the affected phones as having been manufactured in Fall 2012 - early 2013 and are just NOW offering a fix. I don't remember the battery on this phone being so awful when I first got it, but for the last year or so it has sucked majorly. As in, draining a dozen percentage points within five minutes of me unplugging it. Depending on what apps I'm running, it can go from 100% to 35% in the half hour it takes me to get ready in the morning. And then there's the awesome side affect of it saying I have 20-30% left and then just suddenly dying out of no where. Oh, and it displaying like 15% but when I plug it in, it jumps to 60% or so.

Anyway - I'm glad they are doing this...I'm getting a battery THIS WEEK.

                                Hope you're well.
