I don't use it for calorie or weight tracking though.
I'm surprised that pushing a double stroller wouldn't count as fitbit steps. For my old Fitbit, I used to put it in my shoe when cutting the grass but with the FitBit HR all I have to do is push the lawnmower for it to get counted.

    • just for simplicity I think I'll delete actual time practicing but not teaching unless I do a lot of playing in the lesson. I'd never use the thing if I took it off every time I played.

I can't figure out how to see the Work Week Hustle on the computer. Still figuring out how to navigate everything.

BTW second time in a week a guy has spoken to me while I'm packing up to leave the gym. Must be my new fancy athleta pants!

      • Got to class: "We're running a mile first today." Well, alright... 😄
10 minute mile with the double stroller - not bad, I'll take it.
Woke up with my left knee feeling sore (structurally everything looks fine, says DH), which I think was due to back carrying DS2 all day yesterday. Still unclear, but hoping anti inflammatory meds help and taking off from any sort of run tomorrow.

You can't, it's a mobile-device-only thing. FYI: you are kicking butt! (I am going for my walk in about three hours...)

Speaking of butt, bet those are some awesome pants.

            • I'm debating about nutrisystem... anyone tried it? We eat frozen or prepared foods more often than not anyways ...
Also, we've been debating about a dog ongoing. I'm pet sitting now, and it's kind of a could we do it trial. The dog has gotten me out of the house and more steps in, for sure, but it's a lot of responsibly!

I have the HR too, but the FAQ I found on Fitbit's website said it can't track steps accurately if your arm isn't moving. I can push the single stroller with one hand, but it's just too annoying with the double.

                  • Part of yesterday's trip was to order DW's new bike. Got last in country. Bike fitting end of January. Happy 40th love.

Mine won't register the stroller either. I hate that. Really really irritates me to have to remember to put it on my shoe. I tried in my pocket but that didn't work. It also won't register at the store if you're pushing a cart. Honestly, I'm kind of over it (mine doesn't have a watch either which is irritating) so I've taken it off during pregnancy because I'm not getting the 10k steps I was before (I've had to shorten my routes in pregnancy to work out before work).

Aw, you are a sweet hubby. Here's what I got mine:

Red and black, full carbon, full SRAM Red 22. Bought it secondhand, but he just unpacked it yesterday and it's pristine. I'm still not exactly clear why he needs a fourth really nice road bike, but he's happy with it, so... There are some really pretty bikes coming out these days, and another of my tentative 2016 goals is to start riding again -- and maybe get to a point where I can justify replacing mine.

                        • I'm still on my cheap eBay special! It just works for me and it makes me very happy to beat £2000 carbon bikes on my £300 eBay aluminium. I couldn't think of changing it.

                          Nice find for your Hubie!

Yes! My first racing bike was a steel beauty from Craigslist, and the one I won on (got fifth place in a men's race simultaneously with winning the women's race) was a carbon fiber frame from eBay. I still love her, but the new ones are so pretty...LOL.

Did you tell me you don't like cooking? Or it's hard to get it done during the week? I didn't know about this diet until I looked it up. I'd say if you eat out most nights this would likely be a good option. I'd be concerned about how good the food tastes. My parents bought packaged food when they were on Ideal Protein and they said it tasted terrible. It was a lot of expensive food they didn't eat. Hopefully NutriSystem would be better. It's pretty much the opposite of what I've been doing, which is trying to stay away from processed foods as much as possible. Before I went paleo I was supplementing / trying to replace meals with shakes. They tasted OK but I find I just feel better with as little processed foods as possible (excuse me as I stop to go get a cookie I made for Christmas....it's the holidays!)

What is your goal? Do you have a certain amount of weight you want to lose or just looking to eat healthier?
